Where did it all begin?

Yogatarian was founded by Amanda Levett, who created a unique practice called 'Touch Yoga.' Amanda is a firm believer in a preventative health model that aims to restore balance within the body. She advocates living a life of presence, and each individual actively participates in their own wellness journey.

Touch Yoga is a daily releasing psychosensory approach that draws primarily from ancient practices such as hatha yoga, fingertip medicine, breathing techniques, meditation, and energetic awareness to promote balance and harmony in all areas of life, reflecting the belief that everything we need resides within us.

Amanda has many years of experiential practice and learning in various holistic healing modalities, from Chinese Medicine to Yoga Therapy, and is motivated by a deep desire to promote self-healing for everyone.

As life became more complex and stressful, Amanda realised there was little time to release and let go of the emotional build-up from everyday challenges. This sparked the creation of Touch Yoga,  simple, accessible daily wellness practices that focus on releasing. This powerful approach prevents the accumulation of stress, inflammation, and illness, supporting long-term wellness and vitality while honouring the body’s inherent wisdom..
